In a strange Twitter moment, Amber Rose is getting slandered on for a comment she made earlier this year.

Rose appeared on Tyrese and Rev. Run’s OWN talk show It’s Not You, It’s Mean, and talked about consent when it comes to sex back in February. Tyrese suggested if women don’t want to be touched or groped, they shouldn't wear sexy outfits and put out that “energy.”

Rose shot down Tyrese’s predictable argument; urging that, no matter what men think, “no means no” even if a woman is naked on the bed.

“If I’m laying down with a man — butt-naked — and his condom is on, and I say, ‘You know what? No. I don’t want to do this. I changed my mind,’ that means no. That means f---ing no. That’s it... It doesn’t matter how far I take it or what I have on, when I say no, it means no.”

Suddenly, the comment became a hot button topic on Twitter, with some people declaring that Rose is unqualified to give advice on relationships and dating based on her very publicized sexual commentary regarding her marriage to Wiz Khalifa and her alleged sexual romps with various male celebrities. Others bemoaned the fact that so many people on Twitter apparently still don't understand what consent means. Rose has become known for speaking out against rape culture, slut-shaming and double standards.

The Twitter commentary on the months-old quote ranged from condemning to endorsing Rose.

"Amber Rose is the same jackass who said manipulating men for their money is empowering for women," tweeted one person. Another user wrote, "Amber Rose is right. It doesn't matter if y'all kissing and he about to put it in if you ain't feeling it you ain't feeling it."
