As we inch closer to Alicia Keys's new album HERE, she opts to let go of another loosie in "Holy War."

In contrast to her previous infectious tunes such as "In Common" and her A$AP Rocky-assisted record in "Blended Family," Keys takes a deeper route in hopes of instilling peace and love on "Holy War." Recently, she gave her fans a sampling of her new album, including a performance of "Holy War" during a free show in Times Square.

"If war is holy and sex is obscene/Then we got it twisted in this lucid dream/Baptized in boundaries, schooled in sin/Divided by difference, sexuality and skin," she sings on the song.

With her album set to drop Nov. 4, it's safe to say that Alicia is bringing out some of her best work in recent memory. Give her new single a run below.
