Twenty-three years after TLC release their 1995 song “Waterfalls,” their classic tune gets reworked into a tender ballad by Alicia Keys and The Voice coaches Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

Shot in a studio through a sepia-colored filter, the musician delivered a tender rendition with acoustic guitars, piano and a Cajon Drum Box. Sitting behind her piano, Keys also rapped the verses by the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes along with Stefani.

According to Rap-Up, the TLC cover was for a promo for Season 12 of The Voice, which finds Stefani replacing Miley Cyrus after a two-year break.

The Season 12 of the The Voice will premiere on Monday (Feb. 27) at 8PM ET with a three-part “Blind Auditions” episode that extends to Tuesday and Thursday.
