Drake? Desiigner? Weezy?! Jeopardy! was lit this week.

"Let's Rap, Kids!" is a new category that was added to the hit game show Jeopardy! The show was in the middle of its collegiate tournament this week, and host Alex Trebek probably never thought he would go from asking questions about American history to reciting Lil Wayne lyrics--but that's exactly what happened when the new category was introduced.

"I was just getting into this rap thing, I'm not too good at it--but I was getting into it," Trebek said just before the show went to commercial break. Trebek recited lyrics from Drake’s “Started From The Bottom,” Kanye West’s “Famous,” Lil Wayne’s “6 Foot 7 Foot,” Kendrick Lamar’s “m.A.A.d. City,” and Desiigner’s “Panda."

This is not Trebek's first time dropping bars for the hit show, he recited the lyrics to "Jumpman" on a previous episode. While Alex Trebek has made no official announcements, it's highly unlikely that he will give up his day job to pursue a rap career. Watch the full clip of him reciting the popular hip-hop lyrics above.

Hip-hop popping in random corners of popular culture isn't at all new. Last month, The Simpsons aired their own hip-hop-themed episode. The ep was called "The Great Phatsby," and it was completely rap-themed with appearances from rappers like Common, RZA, and Snoop Dogg
