As far as sneaker releases go, this weekend is one for the history books as the Nike Air Jordan 6 "Maroon" is finally set to return after a 20-year plus hiatus.

This blast from the past was made to the exact specifications and should measure up to their 1991 predecessors perfectly. They feature a clean white leather upper with maroon trimmings. One very important detail driving the retro point home is the all-important Nike Air embroidery - as opposed to the Jumpman logo - on the heel of the shoe.

These are set to drop at Nike retailers on Dec. 5 for $220 a pair, which is a small price to pay for such an anticipated release. Overall, this drop is going to be a big deal so plan accordingly.
