Getting gum on your outsole is never a good thing, unless it's made by Nike. The sneaker giant is putting gum on one of our favorite Jordan Brand releases and the results are pretty remarkable.

The Air Jordan 11 Low is shaking things up with a patent leather and canvas upper in a navy colorway. The two materials cause a fair amount of contrast and if that wasn’t enough, a splash of white on the midsole leaps out to make the blue hue even deeper. The sneaker is finished off with a gum outsole which is not only fun to look at but also solves the problem of the translucent rubber turning yellow from oxidation.

If navy is not your color, Nike is also releasing a varsity red colorway as well.

You’ll be able to cop the Air Jordan 11 Low "Navy/Gum" and "Varsity Red" colorways this Saturday (June 4) at select Nike retailers for $170 a pair.
