Afew x Asics Gel Lyte III Koi

Dusseldorf, Germany has a huge Japanese community and one of the city's premier sneaker stores is paying its residents a bit of respect. That store is Afew and they have linked up with Asics to go all out on a drop that is absolutely dripping with flavor.

The Afew x Asics Gel Lyte III Koi is an explosive drop housing everything from shirts to a custom box, but it all starts with the sneakers. The focal point of the drop is red, white and black suede and a mesh pair of runners with colorblocking that should feel familiar if you've ever visited a koi pond to feed the fish.

As mentioned, the goodies are numerous and all of them are tucked away into a wooden box inspired by the Japanese Bento Box. Following that theme, the set includes wasabi and soy sauce-inspired laces and a set of chopsticks as well as three shirts and a white dustbag.
