The adidas Originals ZX Flux isn't a sneaker you should shrug off but for those of you who have done just that we think its time for a reminder. This week the shoe has snatched our coveted sneaker of the week spot with the help of the very familiar 'Aqua' colorway.

The model may be built around the backbone of one of the iconic adidas Originals ZX 8000 however writing off it's innovative new upper is a grave mistake. The woven upper of the sneaker not only reduces weight but it also mimics the build of the original shoe and holds that OG Aqua colorblocking just as well. The streamlined runner won't be confused for hits bulkier cousin however because the build itself comes off super sleek in the end.

When we first saw this colorway it was limited to only 100 pieces but production has opened up for a second larger run. They are set to release to select German retailers on August 1st and will hopefully hit the US because the demand is definitely global.
