When it comes to runners, Adidas has been running the game for quite some time now. And just when you think that they’ve hit their stride, they come back with a model that feels both futuristic and retro at the same time.

The adidas Originals Prophere is a bulky model, with a clunky name to match and an undeniable style. A knit upper and chunky suede strips give a bit of juxtaposition that is only heightened by a bulky strap that forms the pull tab. A knobby white outsole finishes the look off and is notched for better articulation and full comfort.

The adidas Prophere is set to hit select adidas retailers on December 15.
