Going without socks in the summer is a necessity and if you don’t have a pair of sneakers that can only be worn as such, you're truly not doing it right. The Adidas Consortium is here to remedy that with a few slick Primeknit versions of the brand's most celebrated silhouette.

The Adidas Superstar 80s get meshed-out on this release, showcasing a very interesting take on the sneaker. We're used to seeing the shoe decked out in leather or suede and this pair feels even more turned up than before in a basic black on white or white on black colorway. The only thing missing is the trefoil on the heel tab, but in all honesty, we don’t miss it one bit.

As if the scorching sun wasn’t enough reason to hit the beach, you now have the perfect footwear to rock on the boardwalk. Look for these kicks to hit Adidas Consortium retailers including No.42 Paris and No.74 Berlin on Aug. 1.
