Adele's chart-topping album '21' continues to break records. The 2011 album has become the first album in history to sell over three million digital copies.

Rolling Stone shares that nearly three years after its release, '21' continued to sell well even into 2013, sparked by singles like 'Someone Like You' and 'Rolling in the Deep.' In 2012, the critical and commercial success also reached the milestone of selling more than 10 million copies, reaching "diamond" sales in under two years.

Adele took home the Oscar last year for Best Original Song for her 'Skyfall.' She teared up during her acceptance speech, stunned by the win.

Aside from that, the singer has been largely quiet on the music front as of late, due to her 2012 throat surgery. Hopefully she returns back to music soon to follow up the success of '21.'
