Cancer hasn't slowed down the Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch. On top of working on a new album -- 'Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 1' -- with his group mates Ad-Rock and Mike D, Yauch has been absolutely unstoppable as the head of Oscilloscope Laboratories, an independent film distributor. NME is reporting that Yauch recently bought the rights to a powerful Holocaust documentary called 'A Film Unfinished' that will open at New York City's Film Forum on August 18, before it's nationwide release.

The documentary, which tells the story of a Nazi propaganda film centered around life in Warsaw, Poland's infamous Jewish ghetto, premiered to receptive audiences at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

"This movie really affected me," Yauch told the Hollywood Reporter. "It's an incredibly powerful film, not just because of the rare Nazi propaganda footage it shows, but also the captivating way the filmmakers tell the story."

"Our entire staff was blown away by the movie," said Oscilloscope co-founder David Fenkel. "A Film Unfinished' follows O-scope's tradition of releasing award-winning, powerful documentaries, and we're excited about its potential."

Oscilloscope and Yauch are also preparing for the release of Lance Daily's 'Kisses' and a re-release of Jules Dassin's 'The Law' for later this year.
