Ace Hood’s ‘Starvation 5′ Is Available for Streaming and Downloading

A storm's a-brewin’ and it’s led by Florida rhymer Ace Hood. The We the Best artist just dropped Starvation 5, the fifth installment of his popular mixtape series.

The 18-song collection, which is available for streaming and downloading on Soundcloud, boasts guest appearances from Rick Ross and Fabolous and production assists from London on Da Track, The Mekanics, DJ Montay, Tha Bizness, Scott Styles and others. Hood’s previously released singles, “Go Mode” featuring Rozay and “4th Quarter” is on the project.

Among the standout tracks on the collection include the introspective “True 2 Self,” where Hood vows to never change his style despite being overlooked in the rap game.

“Sometimes I be feelin’ like f--- rap / ‘Cause ain’t nobody interested in this real s---,” he spits. “But that be going through my mind on some real s--- / Like why is this n---- heavily underrated / That s--- got n----s steady contemplatin’.”

Other highlights include the bouncy rap ballad "She Loves," the head-nodding banger "Pressure" and the spiritual "Keep on Praying" where Hood delivers prayers and hope for those going through the struggle.
