After a career that has spanned more than four decades, A Tribe Called Quest said that they've officially performed their final show in New York City.

While performing at the 2017 Panorama Festival, the Tribe announced the show would be their last in the city out of respect for the late Phife Dawg. It was last year that member Q-Tip announced this year’s show would be their last.

Although the group hasn’t officially called it quits on performing, last week during their show in Los Angeles at the FYF Festival, the legendary hip-hop group also said that would be their last performance in Los Angeles, so it appears that after their final festival run, that'll be it.

During a 2016 interview with Billboard, when the group was asked what was next for them, it wasn’t the answer fans were hoping for.

“This is our last record,” Q-Tip said about We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service. “We’ll probably do a world tour. After that, that’s it, for the rest of our lives.”
