Drake has always been a consummate entertainer. The hip-hop superstar is an established actor and, as evidenced by his well-received appearances on Saturday Night Live--he's a pretty funny comedian. Now, old footage has surfaced that confirms that a young Aubrey was honing his comedic skills back when he was a teenager.

Video of a teenage Drake doing improvisational comedy at the Rivoli Theater in Toronto has been unearthed thanks to a CBC feature on the historic theater. It's obviously very early in the burgeoning career of the multi-talented entertainer, but you can see glimpses of that timing and wit that Drizzy would showcase on things like SNL and when he hosted The ESPYs.

He's funny and awkward in that very Drake sorta way. Not much has changed over the years, except his fame and bank account.

Drake and his acting partner are asked to perform impromptu directions from the audience, and Drake is focused but clearly relishes the chance to ham it up.

It's nice to get a glimpse of back-in-the-day Drake. Currently, his album VIEWS is racking up all kinds of commercial success. The album stayed at the top spot for the four consecutive weeks--making it the first album by a male artist to maintain the spot in over four years.

Check out young Drake in the video clip above the story.
