What do you do when you want the feel of a work boot without all of that bulky shoe? You opt for a sneaker that gives you the feeling instead. Nike is good for infusing the work boot feel into their silhouettes and this time they’ve chosen a model with a cult following to apply those changes.

The Nike Air Foamposite One gets the fall fashion treatment here and it ends up being a very interesting look. The foam upper is covered in olive-colored suede, which is balanced against chocolate brown trim on the leather laceplate and suede ankle. A gum outsole almost takes the cake as the finishing touch but is quickly outdone by hexagonal lace holes for the full boot feel.

You’ll be able to cop these on Sept. 26 for $250 a pair, which may seem expensive but you’ve got to remember that these will probably be everything you need to hold you down this fall.
