Chicago native Tink is looking to give Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea a run for their money with "Ratchet Commandments," the first official single from her debut album. Drawing comparisons to legends like Missy Elliott and Lauryn Hill, the 19-year-old musical double-threat (she raps and sings) looks to be on the verge of stardom with her steady-growing movement.

Taking a page from the late great Christopher Wallace, she flips the premise of his classic "10 Crack Commandments" and turns it into a banger about the steps one must take to be deemed a "ratchet chick." But contrary to Biggie's version, which serves as an educational tool, Tink's version is tinged with disdain for the kind of woman she's referring to in the song. Here it's the the stereotypical sex symbol label placed on female rappers.

Produced by her mentor Timbaland, the track is vibrant and bass-heavy, pulsating through speakers or earbuds with the ultimate punch. "I been at this thing for years, it's done turned me to an animal / Some of y'all ratchet, I'ma write you hoes a manual / Step by step G s--- for you to keep / This the ratchet commandments, I need a moment to preach," she raps.

Taking shots at the side chicks, Instagram "models" and attention-seeking ladies in general, Tink crafts a cut that has plenty of entertainment value. The song is far from lacking in substance and should further her rep as an artist to keep a watchful eye on.
