G-Unit’s head honcho, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is slated to executive produce a new drama series on Starz, Tomorrow, Today. 50 is already executive producer for Starz hit series, Power.

Variety reports the production deal for his new series comes on the heels of a new deal 50 inked with Starz that extends his existing overall deal with the company into September 2018, in order to develop new projects for the network with his G-Unit Film & Television, Inc.

Tomorrow, Today is described as a superhero drama, and the concept is based on a screenplay written by 50. The story's narrative will reportedly follow a war veteran from Chicago’s south side who gets falsely imprisoned, then becomes the test dummy of a deranged prison doctor hell-bent on creating “the perfect man”—an unstoppable killing machine. The war vet eventually escapes and decides to use his superpowers for good in a world that mistreats him.

“I am looking forward to continuing my relationship with my Starz family, we have had great success together on ‘Power’ and I am excited to get going on all of our upcoming projects together," 50 said in a statement. "I knew Starz would be the perfect home for ‘Tomorrow, Today.’ This project is very personal to me… creating it, writing it, finding the best team for it and I will continue to be involved every step of the way.”

No word yet on when the series will debut.
