Is 50 Cent getting involved in MMA?

Over the past couple of weeks, the rap mogul has dropped several hints on social media which make it appear that he's working on some sort of deal to be involved in MMA in some capacity.

Earlier in the month, he posted a picture of him and Bellator president Scott Coker, then later in the week, posted a split image photo of himself and MMA legend Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, according to Complex, though that image was deleted.

For his part, Coker has said nothing has come into fruition yet, deflecting rumors of 50's business involvement, though this past Saturday, 50 Cent attended Bellator 199 with Coker.

Coker said that 50 is a "friend of the family" and that the rapper's interest in MMA is great for business since he's such a recognizable face. 50 plans to attend Bellator 200 later this month.

"I’ll go back to the first time we met. He wanted to talk about MMA. And there were some pictures taken, people speculate," Coker told MMAjunkie of the rumors. "I don’t know where he said he was going to fight a three-fight deal—I don’t even think he said it. I think somebody else started that rumor: ‘He’s going to fight, he’s going to fight a three-fight deal, then he’s going to fight 'Rampage.'"

However, anyone who follows 50 knows that when he starts hinting at something on social media, particularly as it pertains to business, there's usually some sort of legitimate follow-up. Yesterday, he posted an image of him and Coker with the caption, "lf we can get this right, it would be big."

We'll have to wait and see how 50's MMA aspirations play out.
