50 Cent Gets Gangsta on ‘Street King Energy Track #7′
In support of his global Street King initiative, 50 Cent has released a mean, new freestyle, ‘Street King Energy Track #7.’
Though the title refers to 50’s new Street King Energy shot — a fortified natural juice supplement whose proceeds go towards feeding one billion African children — 50 does not restrain himself on this one, offering up his typical taunts, boasts, threats and jokes.
The Queens rap mogul opens up with a cooing female R&B vocal, which he quickly dismisses “Alright, alright, that’s enough. N—-s ain’t gonna wanna hear that s—,” then launches his verbal assault, “Get outta line/ I’ll line-line I’ll line ya/ You act like you got a vagina/ You p—- n—-.”
Addressing his SK movement in a recent video, 50 stressed the importance of fighting world hunger. “I grew up without money, but I didn’t grow up hungry. It’s a lot of people out there that are actually hungry, actually dying of hunger,” he said. “I feel like it’s our responsibility to come together and do things to create a solution for this actual problem.”
In addition to his Street King work, 50 has revealed that his new album, which has gone through a variety of names and release dates, will be in stores in November, and his third literary effort, ‘Playground,’ a novel for young adults, will be published by The Penguin Young Reader Group some time in 2012.
