Just hours before the New Year, Frank Ocean was busted for speeding, resulting in a drug charge and the confiscation of his driver's license. Contrary to previous reports, however, the singer was not engaging in "suspicious behavior" with a male passenger.

According to the actual police report, Ocean, born Christopher Breaux, 25, was driving his black BMW in Mono county, Calif. at 430PM on New Year's Eve (Dec. 31), when he was pulled over for driving 90 mph in a 65 mph zone.

When police approached, they allegedly smelled marijuana, and found a "small bag of marijuana on his person."

The "Super Rich Kids" singer was cited for marijuana possession, given a Notice to Appear for driving with a suspended license, speeding and illegally tinted front windows, and released, reportedly with his license confiscated.
