Everyone's favorite mom, wife, and superstar, Beyonce, has announced even more heart-warming news -- the singer will be releasing an intimate documentary film about her life.

The revealing movie will be streaming exclusively on HBO on February 16, 2013, and features both unreleased footage of her performances and her personal life.

The president of HBO's programming Michael Lombardo made the announcement today, citing his own excitement about the private moments from the singer's life that the film reveals.

"Everybody knows Beyonce's music, but few know Beyonce the person. Along with electrifying footage of Beyonce onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman," Lombardo said.

The film was directed by Beyonce herself, and features exclusive first-person footage, some shot by Bey on her laptop, reflecting the realities of stardom, motherhood and her extraordinary life.

The film release will follow up her performance at next year's Super Bowl Halftime Show on Februrary 3, 2013. There have also been rumors of a new album, as Bey keeps Instagramming photos of herself in the studio with collaborators like Miguel. 2013 is looking like a promising year for the "Halo" singer and her family.
