There's no denying that Amber Rose loves the spotlight, and the spotlight seems to love her. Whether it's her eclectic fashion sense or fondness for rappers, the Philly native is nothing if not entertaining. In the past few years, she's gone from stripper to model and, with the support of boyfriend Wiz Khalifa, is confident that making the leap into music will offer her another home-run career choice.

Last month, Rose released her first single, 'Fame' -- a thinly veiled commentary on how her life has changed over the years. One month later, she dropped the high-energy track 'Loaded,' which is all leading up to a full-length album. "'Loaded' is the perfect dance club record," Rose tells The BoomBox. "I'm working on my album right now. I'm taking my time with it, and it will definitely be out this year."

The jury is still out on whether the album will be a commercial success, since both 'Fame' and 'Loaded' have yet to find their sea legs in the digital world, but according to Khalifa, the world has yet to see the full extent of her talents.

"She's doing her thing, and everything that she does is so great and magnificent," he said. "I'm standing in the back and trying to support, you know, so it's happening."

The Pittsburgh MC went home empty-handed at Sunday's (Feb. 12) Grammy Awards but predicted that one day Rose might be invited to attend music's biggest night on her own merit.

"I'm sure she'll be nominated for her own award pretty soon," he said.

We'll just have to wait and see about that.
