Listen to the catalog of music from Mr. Burr himself, Gucci Mane, or his protégé Waka Flocka Flame and there's sure to be a word or two that wasn't derived from Merriam-Webster's dictionary. During an interview with DJ Drama on Hot 107.9 in Atlanta, the rappers gave details on a slang word that was unbeknownst to Drama, but is used heavily by Mane and Flame.

"Oh, excuse me. I'm supposed to say 'What's brackin?' Ya'll just put me on," DJ Drama said while speaking to Gucci Mane on a call from prison. "What's that about?"

"You know, that's what we on," Gucci said. "'What's brackin' means 'What's up,' 'What we about to do.' 'What's brackin,' that's hype. That's hype, you always on something new," finished Waka Flocka. "'What's crackin,' you cool, you mellow. 'What's brackin,' I'm tryna get some more money."

'The Appeal: Georgia's Most Wanted' creator also revealed that he will be leaving the confines of prison shortly. "I got a couple of days [left]," he stated. "I got four or five days, man."

Despite being locked up, the rhymer, who caused controversy earlier this year for getting inked with an ice cream cone on his face, won't be sitting idle upon his release. "We booked up," he said. "You know how we roll with that, Drama. We keep the shows going. We got the 'Ferrari Boyz' [album] coming August 9. Me and Flocka, we put a lot of time in. It's like a hood album. If you want to know what's going on in the urban community, you wanna know what's going on in the ghetto, you wanna know what's going on in the slums, you gotta go get the 'Ferrari Boyz.'"

Drama questioned if Gucci was familiar with other joint album collaborations from the likes of Kanye West and Jay-Z, as well as one from Lil Wayne and Drake. We don't watch what everybody else do," he admitted. "We busy doing us. Me and Waka, we the head of the squad. That's my right hand man, that's my partner in crime. It was only right for us to give us a Brick Squad album with the two bosses of Brick Squad going at it. We really challenged each other with this CD."

The 31-year-old was apprehended in April on battery and parole violation charges, after he was accused of pushing a 36-year-old woman out of a moving vehicle. He is expected to be released from prison this month.

'Ferrari Boyz' is planned for a August 9 release.
