'Good Morning America' will give rival morning program the 'Today Show' a run for their money, snagging equally big names like Beyonce and Nicki Minaj for their Summer Concert Series. Representatives for 'GMA' announced early Wednesday (May 11) that their weekly performance series will begin May 27, with Lady Gaga. Although Gaga's appearance will be ticketed, every other show thereafter will be open to the public.

Beyonce is expected to hit the stage in June, the same month as the release of her highly anticipated album '4.' The series of concerts will be heavy on "girl power" as Nicki Minaj, Mary J. Blige and Jennifer Hudson are all expected to rock the crowd with separate appearances.

For the third year, the Summer Concert Series will be held at New York City's Rumsey Playfield in Ramsey Park. Viewers interested in attending are encouraged to enter the park on the 72nd St. entrance on Fifth Avenue at 6AM. The concert will take place during 'GMA's live broadcast every Friday from 7AM to 9AM EST. Additional acts will be announced throughout the summer.

Music lovers looking to stock up on free concerts will have their choice between hitting up 'GMA's Summer Concert Series, or the 'Today Show's, which also begins May 27, and will be just as heavy on the star power, featuring Chris Brown, Rihanna and Cee Lo Green.
