Lil Wayne’s Swizz Beatz-Produced ‘Stan’ Tribute Leaks

Though Lil Wayne recently pushed back the release of his long-awaited ninth album, 'Tha Carter IV,' to June 21, fans have gotten a taste of what's to come on the Bangladesh-produced '6 Foot 7 Foot' and the Rick Ross-featured 'John (If I Die Today).' Now a snippet -- albeit very poor quality -- of a new song called 'Anne' has hit the 'Net.

The 34-second sample, which was produced by Swizz Beatz, features eerie, haunting female vocals and four bars from Wayne, giving a bare glimpse at the Young Money head's Eminem-influenced concept on the song.

The beat for 'Anne' was initially offered to Eminem back in 2008, with the title 'Stan 2,' but Em rejected the concept of writing a sequel to his 2000 classic. Swizz claimed last year that he was able to retrieve the beat and give it to Wayne instead, who recorded 'Anne' from the opposite perspective -- as a rapper writing to his obsessive fan. According to Swizz, the song is "taking it to the next level, the way that Wayne tells Anne he's sorry what happened to Stan."

"Dear Anne, My number one fan/ I write with the life from the rhymes on my nightstand/ My pen in my right hand and it's also my mic hand, codeine in a Sprite can/ Ink with the white paint, I'm thinking..." Wayne spits, before the snippet cuts off.

While Swizz said back in September that 'Anne' would appear on his upcoming album 'Haute Living,' Rap-Up.com now reports that Swizz traded the song to Wayne in exchange for a verse on Swizz's 'Rock 'N' Roll' single with Travis Barker and Lenny Kravitz.

Wayne is currently finishing up his wildly successful I Am Still Music tour, and will release 'Tha Carter IV' on June 21.
