Ne-Yo announced today that he has closed a deal with Cartoon Network to produce his own show. Titled 'I Heart Tuesdays,' the show tells the story of "a 16-year-old girl that inherits the curse of her bloodline and she's forced to save the world from the unknown evil every Tuesday for the rest of her life."

Ne-Yo says he created the show with his sister in mind, but very little is known besides the title and subject. The Cartoon Network has not revealed the show's format, but the AP reports that production on 'I Heart Tuesdays' begins shortly.

Ne-Yo has been hitting the screen a lot lately. Earlier this week, he appeared on the PBS special 'The Hitman Returns: David Foster & Friends,' where he performed Michael Jackson's 'Earth Song' with Foster. Fans can catch him on the big screen in 'Battle: Los Angeles,' which opens in theaters today. He is currently hard at work on a collaboration album with Brooklyn rapper Fabolous.
