Eminem and Rihanna to Headline V Festival

Eminem and Rihanna have been announced as the headliners for this year's V Festival, along with British alt-rockers Arctic Monkeys and UK-based rapper Plan B. Em, Rihanna will also be joined by Wiz Khalifa, Dizzee Rascal, Bruno Mars, Mark Ronson, Tinie Tempah, Jessie J and a host of bands and solo acts spanning rock, pop, hip-hop and electronic music.

The festival takes place Aug. 20-21 at Weston Park and Hylands Park in Staffordshire and Chelmsford, England. Eminem will take the stage at Weston Park on Aug. 20 while the Arctic Monkeys rock out the next day on Aug. 21, with the reverse scheduled for the Hylands Park shindig.

Last year's V Festival was a little light on hip-hop but Brit Award winner Tinie Tempah represented for England and took the stage at the Nissan Juke Arena.

Tickets for the 2011 festival will go on sale at 9AM on March 4.
