Former reality television star and general cultural pariah Spencer Pratt is looking to make a splash in both music and marketing, but it looks like he's returning to the drawing board after his first effort has put him on the defensive. Whatever did he do to garner such backlash? Well, Pratt recorded a song entitled 'Ain't No Thang But a Chicken Wing' that he says was intended for a KFC marketing campaign.

The track, which leaked yesterday, was actually produced by a hip-hop mainstay named TreBeatz and was apparently shelved because even Pratt was embarrassed by his work. TreBeatz has recorded with everyone from Nas and Game to Busta Rhymes in the past, but apparently there was some sort of dust-up during the sessions and Tre wants nothing to do with Pratt.

"Money ain't a thing," Pratt raps in the track. "Nothing but a chicken wing/ Call me Mr. KFC/ S dot P in the flesh."

While trying to defend the horrible track, Pratt claimed it wasn't for public consumption. That said, he was also once quoted calling himself the "hottest rapper in the game."

"I've always known that I secretly am the hottest rapper in the game," he says. "I'm the white Jay-Z in the game. I'm doing the baller thing. I'm more for the streets." We hope he's joking, but who even knows anymore.
