Chris Brown has officially completed his court-appointed domestic violence classes, and the singer couldn't be happier about the accomplishment.

Brown posted a picture of his diploma for completion on his Twitter page. "I'm done with class," he wrote next to the photo. The Virginia native also added a few words of reflection on the matter. "I have enough self-respect and decency to be proud of accomplishing this DV class," he wrote. "Boyz run from [their] mistakes .... Men learn from them!"

Brown was ordered to take the 52-week course after physically assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. Additionally, he was sentenced to five years of probation and 180-days of community labor. Following the public backlash surrounding his actions, Brown has owned up to his mistakes and received flying colors from L.A. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg, who previously warned that if Brown did not take the sentence seriously, a trip to jail was imminent.

"Out of thousands of probationers, no one has done a better or more consistent job than you have," she told Brown during a hearing last month. "I really want to commend you for taking responsibility and for actually working diligently to complete all the things the court has required of you."

Since the incident Brown has struggled to regain his footing in the public eye, which is starting to turn around. The singer received three Grammy nominations and is prepping the release of his fourth album, 'F.A.M.E. (Forgiving All My Enemies)' next year.
