The details surrounding Mariah Carey's pregnancy are finally out of the bag. After a few weeks of secrecy, Carey's husband Nick Cannon has confirmed that the pop songstress is set to deliver twins.

"We are having twins," Canon revealed to listeners on his radio show, Thursday morning. He explained that Carey first let the news slip to President Barack Obama and his wife during her performance for TNT's 'Christmas in Washington' special, taped on Sunday (Dec. 12). "They, ironically enough, questioned my wife about, you know, 'So, what are you having, are you having twins?'" he explained of the conversation with the Obamas. "And at this point, she hadn't told anybody anything because doctors advised us to keep it to ourselves until we get further along. And because of the excitement, because of the emotion, she was overwhelmed [and] she shared with the president and first lady that we are having twins."

Carey first sparked speculation that she was carrying twins when she referred to her stomach as "they" during a radio interview in November. The couple have not revealed any information about the due date of the Carey-Cannon twins. The 'Christmas in Washington' special airs Friday, Dec. 17 at 8PM on TNT.
