Will.i.am Raising Support for Obama Re-Election Via Twitter

Black Eyed Pea Will.i.am has announced plans to launch a large-scale Twitter campaign in support of President Obama.

Dubbed "i.am W/U MR. PRES!," the campaign has been organized in conjunction with actors Bill Duke and Jimmy Jean-Louis, with confirmed participation from celebrities like Don Cheadle, El Debarge, Pras, Vivica Fox, Sinbad, Anthony Hamilton, Hill Harper, Sally Richardson, Sugar Shane Mosley and many more.

"i.am W/U MR. PRES!" kicks off Nov. 13, when the collection of actors, musicians and athletes are scheduled to shoot a video at Record Plant studios in Hollywood, Calif. The video will then be tweeted out by will's "indestructible Twitter army" on Thanksgiving day, to help gain support for Obama's 2012 bid for reelection.

Will.i.am was a vocal supporter of President Obama during his 2008 election bid, releasing the viral music video 'Yes We Can,' which was comprised of quotes from Obama's concession speech at the New Hampshire presidential primary. The video received over 25 million combined views in under a month.
