Cee Lo Green has a fondness for 007. The southern gentlemen, with his Cheshire Cat-like grin, embodies the magnetism and mystery of the ficticious covert agent. While snacking on wings inside New York City barbecue spot Blue Smoke, the Atlanta crooner reveals the inspiration of his third solo LP, 'The Lady Killer,' yet coyly shies away from giving out all its details.

"I'm quite a charmer but other than that, I'm a lover and a fighter," Cee Lo tells The BoomBox. "In simple terms, the whole concept and theme behind the album was based off of what I call 'big, black James Bond.' So 'The Lady Killer' sounded like a Bond thing, you know what I mean. Once you get to hear the album, you will see this very cinematic, orchestral approach to it. It sounds like something Barry White would have done."

Cee Lo teamed with lauded beatsmiths Salaam Remi, The Smeezingtons, Jack Splash, Frederick T. Smith and Nick Knowles to create the unshakable sound heard on the album. According to the bald-headed ATLien, all are accomplished musicians who acted as "accessories to this crime of passion."

The effort, which has already spawned the expletive-laden smash hit, 'F--- You,' was whittled down to one disc, a chore for the funky singer considering his admiration and acknowledgment of "all things woman" could have easily branched out into a double disc project. "A woman is a world, she's a universe, she's an adventure, she's a journey," he explains while fiddling with his black diamond watch. "This album showcases being in touch with the feminine side. I'm a ladies' man."
