With the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards already featuring Eminem, Drake, Kanye West and B.o.B as performers, the lineup just got a little more star power. Though the official announcement is yet to be made by MTV, Ciara has announced that she will be gracing the stage at Los Angeles' Nokia Theater this Sunday to perform alongside N.E.R.D. during the ceremony.

"Ok my sweet fans:) I guess u know now:)..I am performing with N.E.R.D for the VMA'S," tweeted Ciara. "It will be exciting 2 merge our worlds together!"

While Ciara is no VMA rookie, this marks the first time that the 'Ride' singer will do her thing with a performance. Over the past five years, Ci-Ci has been nominated for a slew of awards and presented alongside stars including Missy Elliott, Lindsay Lohan and Andre 3000, winning Best Dance Video and Best Hip-Hop Video in 2005 for her participation in Elliott's 'Lose Control.'

The VMAs, set to air September 12 at 9PM, will be hosted by Chelsea Handler and feature additional performances from Justin Bieber, Usher, Mary J. Blige, Swizz Beatz, Jason Derulo and more. Nicki Minaj will open the ceremony with a pre-show performance of a 'Your Love,' remix while Eminem will be the first to perform during the main telecast.
