All of Kanye West's Twitter ramblings about new music and surprise performances are to be taken seriously. On Wednesday (Aug. 11) Ye dropped the new Beyonce and Charlie Murphy-featured track 'See Me Now' and on Thursday night (Aug. 12) he put on a secret show at The Box on New York City's Lower East Side.

The dress code for last night's performance was all-formal-everything, which meant that men weren't allowed inside unless they were properly outfitted in a suit and tie and "hard bottoms" just like Mr. West. Attendees were happy to comply with Kanye's "Rosewood Movement" -- the suited dress code started by West this summer. The finely outfitted audience included the newest G.O.O.D. Music signee, Pusha T, in addition to label mates Big Sean, Mr. Hudson, Consequence and DJ A-Trak.

Kanye took the stage around 2AM, and with John Legend holding down the piano, he performed a 90-minute set that included renditions of 'Flashing Lights,' 'Run This Town,' 'Power,' 'Heard 'Em Say,' 'Welcome to Heartbreak' and the new song 'Mama's Boyfriend' from his upcoming album. Brit songstress, Estelle made a guest appearance during the set to perform her hit single 'American Boy,' and on his way out Kanye took the time to shake hands and schmooze with the crowd.
