Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie has been indicted on first degree murder charges Thursday (June 17). According to reports, Boosie , real name Torrance Hatch, was indicted by the East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury for the shooting death of Terry Boyd back in 2009.

Boosie also faces three counts of possession with the intent to deliver (PIWD) charges, three counts of conspiracy to commit PWITD narcotics, and two counts of conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal institution. Two other suspects, Michael Louding, and Adrian Pittman have also been indicted on first degree murder charges for Boyd's death. East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore said that Boosie, Louding, and Pittman all fit the criteria of the indictment, noting that seeking the death penalty is also an option. Boyd was shot to death inside his home in on October 21, 2009. The shots were fired outside of his home through a window.

Last November, the 26-year-old was sentenced to four years behind bars after violating the terms of his probation, stemming from a 2008 arrest. Had he not accepted his current plea deal, Boosie would be looking at up to 25-years behind bars, but with these new added charges there is no word as to if or when he will ever be free.
