DMXIt looks like DMX won't be appearing on VH1's 'Celebrity Rehab' after all. According to TMZ.com, an Arizona judge denied the rapper's request to enter the facility in replacement of jail time Tuesday (May 4). X is currently serving sixth months in an Arizona prison for violating his probation, but was offered the opportunity to obtain treatment at the hands of Dr. Drew Pinsky, the resident physician for the show 'Celebrity Rehab' which is taped at the Pasadena Recovery Center.

The judge denied X's petition due to his positive progress behind bars, where he is enrolled in a court appointed substance abuse program. He will however be able to obtain further treatment upon his release later this year, but will have missed the cutoff for the show.

Following his March arrest, X's lawyer, Gary Jenkins, pleaded for Pinsky's help to break him of his addictions. "He's been battling addiction for some time and he's in need of treatment," he said. Pinsky even wrote a letter to the judge requesting that the 39-year-old be admitted into the facility.

In the last few years, things for the embattled rapper have continued to fall apart, as he has found himself in custody on several occasions. He was said to be getting his career back on track with the release of a gospel album but can't seem to stay on the straight and narrow. Aside from a fledgling music career, X has been arrested for impersonating law enforcement, animal cruelty, and alluded authorities while hiding out at producer Scott Storch's Miami home.
