Producer Scott Storch is speaking out about his highly publicized fall from grace, and blaming it on his previous cocaine addiction. The producer behind hits for Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Fat Joe and 50 Cent, spent the last three years spending millions on drugs and hitting what he says was "rock bottom."

"I found myself slipping a little bit," he said in an interview. "I got involved in doing drugs. I had to get myself into recovery. Being in the life that I was living very fast-moving, option to do anything you want, go anywhere you [want to] go. It definitely takes its toll on you, and you lose your concept of reality." Storch reportedly blew through $30 million on cars, drugs, and houses. All of which he calls "poor judgment decisions."

Among his problems was his failure to keep up with the payments on a Bentley he leased in 2006. Financiers finally caught up to Storch, resulting in his arrest earlier this month. He has since plead not guilty to grand theft auto charges and it was later revealed that he gave the vehicle to Lil' Kim. "We are disappointed in the decision to take a civil dispute and file it as a criminal charge," his lawyer said in a statement. "There are many facts, that when revealed, will clearly demonstrate that there was no criminal wrongdoing on behalf of my client."

Storch says that he is slowly but surely getting back on track. "I'm taking it back to square one," he said. "I haven't won the war. It's not like something you can just fix and it's just gone. Addiction is a disease, and I have to constantly battle it. I feel so much better and have more clarity, especially in the studio." Storch is also getting back to his producing duties through his company Tuff Jew. "It's been a really productive period. With the help of my publisher TVT, I've had the chance to woodshed and come up with a whole new vibe. I'm very happy right now."

At the height of his popularity Storch, 35, was reportedly worth upwards of $100 million.
