2 Chainz Explains ‘Brokered Convention’ on ‘The Nightly Show’ [VIDEO]

The race to become the next president of the United States is a little confusing, especially on the Republican side. Thank goodness we have 2 Chainz to help us sift through the political mess.

The Atlanta rapper returned to The Nightly Show for another installment of 2 Chainz Explainz. In his latest segment, Deuces breaks down the term “brokered convention," which you may have been hearing about on cable news shows.

To let 2 Chainz explained it,"a brokered convention goes down when no single candidate has the 237 delegate votes needed to win the Republican nomination. Now, when it happens, the convention goes ham!”

Since the Republican front-runner, Donald Trump, doesn't have enough delegates to secure the nomination, the Republican party have to release all the delegates and have to vote again. "They don't care who you voted for the first time around. That's gangster right there...they just keep voting, and voting," said 2 Chainz.

According to the "I'm Different" rapper, the situation can get out of control if the delegates have to vote again and again. He cited a 1924 incident in which delegates had to vote 103 times for the Democratic nominee. "Ain't nobody got time for that," said 2 Chainz. "You know me, I got a thug life, one wife, a mistress and a girlfriend."
