2 Chainz stopped by the Power 105.1 FM studios in New York City for an in-depth and highly informative interview with the Breakfast Club's Angela Yee, DJ Envy, and Charlamagne.

During the nearly 40-minute interview, the Atlanta rapper speaks on a slew of topics including his run-ins with the law, getting a nice check to leave Ludacris' DTP label, and the cookbook he recently announced. The conversation gets especially interesting when the rapper formerly known as "Tity Boi" explains why he's releasing the book, which he says will be included in the deluxe edition of his sophomore album 'B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time.'

As 2 Chainz tells it, he was forced to give up drinking alcohol and indulging in treats like ice cream and lemonade. He apparently has suffered from "major stomach issues," which included eight ulcers and severe heartburn, and had to change his eating habits to turn his health around. He was able to do so thanks to the work of his personal chef, who travels the globe with the rapper and came up with all the recipes in the cookbook.

You can watch the entire interview below and remember kids, acid reflux is no joke.
