Welp, it looks as if it's a wrap for R&B group 112.

Group members, Slim, Q, Deron and Mike, have parted ways once again. The news isn't exactly a surprise, as Mike and Slim had already been showing up for performances without Q and Deron for months.

Yesterday, Slim went on Instagram to clear the air with a lengthy statement posted alongside a screenshot of a text message from March 2018, that seemed to come from Deron, indicating it was okay for Slim and Mike to continue to use the 112 name while performing. Deron said that he and Q would "do the same."

"IT'S TIME TO BE HONEST ABOUT 112," Slim wrote on IG. "You want answers? Why do you see only two people in performances? As you see in these texts especially the first two is very self-explanatory, my text is the last. I'm for the brand. I never left it, never cheated it... Part of being a leader is humbleness. Putting others before self for the brand. Just how I'm built... Ironically the same guys who broke the group up before are at it again and although it's easy to walk away and pick up solo situations or investments it would be unfair to at least give a hint in what's going on."

He went on to talk about previous issues of mistrust and loyalty, and says that the 112 "brotherhood was broken in 03-04." Slim also appeared claim there is a lawsuit pending against him.

"For a person to wanna sue the same person who helped you when you were at your worst... no we aren't bros... be who you are and proud! Don't hide your fangs and rattle," he wrote.

But Slim wasn't the only 112 member with some things to get off his chest. Deron also posted messages to social media, though he were more subliminal (see below).

112 formed in Atlanta in 1993 and released their self-titled debut album on Bad Boy in 1996. They previously went on hiatus between 2007-2009, before reconnecting in 2010. In October 2017, the band finally released their first album in 12 years, Q, Mike, Slim, Daron.
